Former Penn State Long Snapper Kyle Vasey Seriously Injured, Fiancée Killed in Colorado Hit-and-Run

Former Kyle Vasey long snapper Kyle Vasey is recovering from severe injuries after a tragic hit-and-run crash in Colorado that claimed the life of his fiancée, Corinne More.

According to reports from CBS News, Vasey and More were walking along a sidewalk on June 3 when a vehicle left the roadway and struck them, along with another pedestrian. More, 35, was pronounced dead following the incident.

Vasey suffered multiple fractures throughout his body and remains on the road to recovery. A GoFundMe page established to support him described his injuries as extensive, requiring significant medical treatment and rehabilitation.

A third victim, 72-year-old Dianne Windes, was also struck during the crash. Windes reportedly was walking in the opposite direction of the couple and sustained serious injuries that required hospitalization.

Authorities later arrested 28-year-old Adam Bauserman in connection with the incident. Investigators said Bauserman was driving with a suspended license stemming from a previous DUI-related offense at the time of the crash.

Law enforcement officials believe Bauserman was traveling approximately 48 miles per hour when his vehicle struck the pedestrians on the sidewalk. While deputies did not immediately observe signs of impairment, toxicology results are pending to determine whether alcohol or other substances played a role in the crash.

The tragic accident has devastated family members, friends, and the football community. Vasey, who spent his collegiate career at Penn State, now faces a lengthy recovery while mourning the loss of his fiancée.

The investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue to gather evidence and await the results of Bauserman’s blood tests.
