We are near the deciding moments of the Stanley Cup Finals. The Vegas Golden Knights once looked like a team that may not make the playoffs. But they rallied back to get themselves into the Finals. On the other hand, the Carolina Hurricanes finally beat their demons and got to a stage that they have been aiming for for years. The soonest that the Cup could be awarded is today, if the Hurricanes win tonight. But Vegas has looked like a team that should not be counted out. Who do you think will win the Stanley Cup? We asked, you answered.

Who wins the Stanley Cup?
We presented the poll below to our readers:
Vegas Golden Knights
As much as people from nearly everywhere except Vegas hate this team, this would be the best-case scenario for the Flames. If the Flames win the Cup, they get an additional first-round pick from the Knights. Some Flames fans may find themselves cheering for the Knights for the first (and only) time in their lives because of this. Despite this, the Knights are such a divisive and controversial team that there are very likely many fans who just can’t find themselves cheering for them.
The Knights have the talent to win the Cup, as they have done it before, but they will need to find a way to get themselves two wins in a row against a very strong team in Carolina. Can Mitch Marner continue his magic and get himself a Conn Smythe Trophy? The Knights have embraced the villain role, and when they are on their game, they look unstoppable.
Carolina Hurricanes
It seems like the Hurricanes should have been cup contenders for a while now. On paper, the team is one of the strongest in the league, but for years, they just couldn’t get over the hump. This year, they finally got past the Conference Finals and find themselves one win away from winning it all. Jordan Staal has been an incredible player for the team this round, as he has managed to score in every single game of the Finals. The captain is showing up and leading by example.
If the Hurricanes win tonight, it will be their first Stanley Cup in 20 years. They have shown resilience in the series, coming back from large deficits to get the game competitive again. They have the talent and only need one more win.
The Cup will be awarded soon
As most fans are waiting to see who will be crowned the champions, Flames fans are itching to see if they will be able to secure another first-round pick from Vegas if they end up winning it all. Conroy has done wonders so far with most of his trades, but this might make his work even better.
