Toronto Blue Jays fans had more than just a win to cheer about on Tuesday night. George Springer achieved a major personal milestone during the Blue Jays’ 6-1 victory over the Red Sox in Boston.
In the top of the ninth on his final at-bat of the game, Springer absolutely crushed a 1-0 pitch with one runner aboard.
George Springer has entered the 300-home run club
The ball went well over Fenway Park’s “Green Monster” wall in deep left field, awarding Springer his seventh home run of the season and, more importantly, the 300th of his career.
Springer’s two-run shot made him 2-for-3 with the home run, three total RBI, one run scored and a walk on the day.

And now after a calm start to the season power wise, Springer has two home runs in his last four games. His two recent homers are his only of the month as he’s shy of the torrid pace he was on last season. Springer hit 32, his highest total since 2019, to help the Blue Jays win the American League pennant in 2025.
