”I feel pressure ” – Queiroz admits as Black Stars coach • Sahara Football

Black Stars head coach Carlos Queiroz has affirmed the pressure of managing Ghana ahead of the  FIFA World Cup. 

 

The Portuguese tactician who has managed teams like Egypt, Iran, South Africa has admitted the weight of expecatation on  him as the headcoach.

Addresing the media ahead of Wales friendly game, he admitted the weight of expectation on him as the head coach.

“Of course I feel pressure. I don’t think there is any manager heading into the World Cup that does not feel pressure,” he said.

“The pressure in this job is what drives us forward, to be better every day. The day there’s no pressure, our job ends as coaches.”

Queiroz is an experienced head and is expected to lead the Black Stars to it’s fifth World Cup.

The Cardiff City Stadium will see Wales host World Cup-bound Ghana on Tuesday at 6:45 pm

Ghana is housed in group L alongside Panama, England and Croatia
