Fans saged Madison Square Garden after the Knicks lost game 4 of the NBA Finals. Now, the World’s Most Famous Arena is going to receive the ultimate uncursing. On July 18th, MSG will host Saturday Night’s Main Event for the first time since 2007. WWE released the official poster, which is being branded as Saturday Night’s Main Event: NYC. The only person featured on the poster is the new King of New York. In the same arena where Hulkamania was born, Danhausen is the poster boy for the MSG Saturday Night’s Main Event.

It’s been a very nice year for the sometimes very evil Danhausen. In just a few months, he went from being pannged during his WWE debut to being the mascot for the New York Knicks.
WWE seemingly coughed up a few extra human monies because they were able to afford the blimp-loving madman as the face of MSG Saturday Night’s Main Event.

It’s unknown what WWE has in store for Danhausen at The Garden. However, the tagline says, “Join the uncursed.” The font colors are also the Knicks’ trademark blue and orange. So, there could be a tie-in between the Very Evil, Very Nice one and the NBA Champs.
Will the Knicks Be At Saturday Night’s Main Event in MSG?
There are rumors that WWE is trying to get some Knicks stars to be in attendance for the MSG Saturday Night’s Main Event. After all, the NBA Finals MVP Jalen Brunson is a huge WWE fan. Not only did he tell Jimmy Fallon that he believed in Danhausen’s cursing powers, but he’s been on WWE TV before.
The Knicks point guard prevented Tyrese Haliburton from assisting Logan Paul in a victory on SmackDown in June 2024. MSG exploded when the Pacer and Knick got into an altercation. In the end, the future Brunsonhausen and LA Knight held off Logan Paul and Tyrese Haliburton with steel chairs.
Perhaps Danhausen can convince the Knicks today. The Knicks parade is currently happening in Manhattan. WFAN Sports Radio invited Danhausen to attend this monumental event. It looks like Danhausen will keep this momentum going as he is the face of the MSG Saturday Night’s Main Event!
Danhausen At Fanatics Fest During Saturday Night’s Main Event Weekend
Fresh off the Knicks win (and the growing love for that Danhausen), WWE is expecting a huge turnout for the NYC Fanatics Fest. Fanatics Fest will take place over four days, from July 16th through July 19th.
This massive event will feature a who’s who of WWE Superstars, including John Cena, The Undertaker, AJ Styles, Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and more.
Noticeably, Rhea Ripley is advertised. Unfortunately for Mami fans, that might have to change.
Nonetheless, WWE is expecting a significant line for Danhausen. Suffice to say, there are tons of Danhausen merchandise being made in hopes of making some serious human monies.
