Is There Going to be an Until dawn 2 Movie to Tie in

With Until Dawn 2 on the horizon, will we see a film adaptation for the slasher game sequel?

Not yet, but it’s early days for the follow-up to Supermassive Games’ cult choice-based horror game, but given the cinematic nature of the games, it’s only natural that people would be curious about a tie-in film version.

Until Dawn 2 Movie – Is it Happening?

There’s currently no Until Dawn tie-in movie planned. Again, we’ve only just learned about the game, so it’s not impossible that a film version could be in the works. The announcement of Until Dawn 2 was itself something of a surprise.

We’ll keep an eye out for any developments and keep you posted.

What is Until Dawn 2 About?

Until Dawn 2 sees a paranormal investigation group known as Dead True head to an abandoned tropical island for its television debut.

Used to faking their coverage, the group discover the murderous mysteries of this island hold more weight than they could imagine.

Who Stars in Until Dawn 2?

As with the first Until Dawn, Until Dawn 2 features a cast of real-life actors who have been digitally recreated, and again, it’s a mixture of known and unknown quantities.

Most notable amongst the cast are Stranger Things actor Dacre Montgomery and Baldur’s Gate 3’s Neil Newbon.

You can see the rest of the cast and what we know about the characters they’ll play in our guide.

Has There Been an Until Dawn Movie Before?

Yes, in 2025, we got a loose adaptation of Until Dawn by David F. Sandberg.

The film is set in the same universe as the games (Peter Stormare reprises his role from the first game), but acts as a fresh standalone story.

A group of young people find themselves caught in a time loop where fresh horrors come to kill them at night.

When is the Until Dawn 2 Game Out?

So far, all we know is that Until Dawn 2 will be coming to PS5 sometime in 2027. You can find out more on our release date page.
