Draw for the 83rd edition of the Internazionali BNL d’Italia has been made on Monday.
The ATP Masters 1000 tournament takes place from May 06 to May 17 at Foro Italico in Rome.
No.3 seed and six-time former champion Novak Djokovic has a first round BYE. He will open campaign in R2 against Marton Fucsovic (HUN, ATP no.57) or a qualifier.
Novak’s potential opponents in the later stages of the competition are:
3rd round: Ugo Humbert (FRA, 31)
4th round: Karen Khachanov (RUS, 13)
Quarter-finals: Lorenzo Musetti (ITA, 8), Jiri Lehecka (CZE, 11), Casper Ruud (NOR, 23)

Novak lifted the Rome Masters trophy in 2008, 2011, 2014, 2015, 2020 and 2022.
Last year, he did not take part.
