For the second straight summer, IU basketball will take an international trip, Inside the Hall has confirmed.
This time, the Hoosiers will represent the USA in the FISU America Games in Lima, Peru.
A schedule for when the USA – which IU will represent – will play has not been finalized.
Last summer, Baylor University represented the USA in the FISU World University Games in Germany and won the silver medal.
The FISU America Games will be held from July 20 through August 1. The expectation is that the games will be available to stream.
Previous FISU America Games have been held in San Paulo, Brazil (2018), Merida, Mexico (2022) and Cali, Colombia (2024).
The FISU America Games are a multi-sport event that brings together collegiate athletes from North and South America.
Because the Hoosiers will represent the USA, only American citizens on the IU roster will be able to participate.
