Jacob Fatu left chaos behind during the May 11 episode of WWE RAW after completely destroying Roman Reigns and The Usos during what was supposed to be an acknowledgment ceremony.
The segment was advertised as a major face-to-face moment between Roman Reigns and Fatu following their match at WWE Backlash, but things quickly spiraled out of control before Fatu even reached the ring.
After Roman demanded that the Knoxville crowd acknowledge him, WWE cut to backstage footage showing Fatu storming through the arena while Jey Uso desperately tried to calm him down.
Jey warned Fatu that he was creating problems for both himself and the family, repeatedly telling him to think carefully before moving forward.
Fatu ignored the warning entirely.
Jacob Fatu Refuses To Acknowledge Roman Reigns
During the backstage confrontation, Fatu headbutted Jey before unloading punches and additional headbutts.
Fatu then made his intentions crystal clear.
“You want me to acknowledge you? That ain’t happening,” Fatu told Roman while marching toward the ring. “You’re gonna have to beat it out of me.”
Jimmy Uso attempted to stop Fatu near ringside, but Fatu punched him and launched him violently into the barricade.
Once inside the ring, the confrontation between Fatu and Roman immediately exploded into a fight. Roman struck first with punches and drove Fatu into the turnbuckles, but Fatu quickly answered with a flying forearm before clotheslining Roman over the top rope.
Fatu attempted a suicide dive, but Roman countered by smashing a steel chair across his back multiple times.
Roman screamed at Fatu to acknowledge him or leave WWE altogether while continuing the assault with repeated chair shots.
However, Fatu refused to stay down.
After countering a spear attempt with a superkick, Fatu locked in the Tongan Death Grip and shoved Roman over the top rope before connecting with a suicide dive moments later.
The destruction escalated from there.
Jacob Fatu Powerbombs Roman Reigns Through Announce Table
Fatu repeatedly slammed Roman into the ring post and steel steps before clearing the announce table at ringside.
Roman briefly fought back with a Superman Punch, but Fatu regained control by applying the Tongan Death Grip once again before repeatedly headbutting him.
The segment reached its biggest moment when Fatu powerbombed Roman Reigns through the announce table in a brutal crash.
WWE officials rushed to ringside in an attempt to separate the two men, but Fatu broke free and continued attacking Roman.
RAW General Manager Adam Pearce ordered Fatu to stop, but the situation only became more chaotic.
Fatu grabbed Roman’s championship belt, licked the title, and walked up the entrance aisle before suddenly charging back toward the ring area.
As Roman, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso regrouped near the barricade, Fatu sprinted full speed into all three men and speared them through the ringside barrier in a violent collision.
The segment closed with the wreckage scattered around ringside while Fatu stood tall over Roman Reigns and The Usos.
