Jelly Roll looking ahead to non-WWE future following WrestleMania 42

In a new vlog covering WrestleMania 42 weekend, Jelly Roll addressed being involved alongside Pat McAfee in the build to Cody Rhodes taking on Randy Orton for the Undisputed WWE Championship:

I had one goal tonight and I kind of succeeded. Pat, I love you man. Neither one of us had any business here. I say we get back to what we’re good at. Man, even though I’m not actually really good at anything. But you’re great at something, so go do it. I’ll keep searching for what I’m going to do when I grow up.

The celebrity involvement for the feud culminated in Jelly Roll putting McAfee through an announce table with an elbow drop, a moment the musician joked he needed a framed picture of.

Reports of a tag team match pitting Jelly Roll and Rhodes against McAfee and Orton appears to be on the shelf as McAfee has held to his word of being “gone from WWE forever” on the condition that Orton lost at the main event of WrestleMania Saturday.
