Josh Padley vs Aqib Fiaz – How To Watch It

Josh Padley makes a first defence of his European super featherweight title against Aqib Fiaz in Sheffield on Saturday.

Padley (18-1, 6 KOs) faces Fiaz (14-1, 2 KOs) at the Utilita Arena.

The main event has already been changed twice after original headliner Dalton Smith was forced out of his scheduled world title defence against Alberto Puello through injury.

Galal Yafai’s showdown with unified flyweight world champion Ricardo Sandoval was then elevated to main event status, but was also scrapped with the Brit withdrawing with an injury.

Former world title challenger, Padley looks to edge closer to a second shot at world honours having previously been beaten by Shakur Stevenson in a bid for the WBC lightweight title last February.

The 30-year-old, who took the bout at late notice, has responded with three straight wins, stopping Jaouad Belmehdi in two rounds in January to win the belt he defends on Saturday.

Fiaz has bounced back with two victories since a sole defeat to Reece Bellotti in 2023.
