Juventus defender Bremer claims his team have been “coasting” for six years, and he wants them to be fighting for the Serie A title, not just a Champions League spot.
Juve sit fourth in the table, with a two-point cushion over Roma below them, ahead of their clash with AC Milan at San Siro on Sunday.
Luciano Spalletti’s side have gone unbeaten in their last seven matches (W5 D2), winning each of the last three, to put themselves in the driving seat in the race for a Champions League place.
Juventus would leapfrog Milan into third if they win, but Bremer believes they should be aiming higher than they have been in recent seasons.
“Juve have been coasting along for six years now, and this cannot happen,” warned Bremer.
“I am happy here, but it is important that the club gets back to winning ways. In order to be considered a champion player, you have to get back to winning.
“I want to win, because I am 29 years old and I cannot wait any longer. You can’t just float along for six years; you need to target the Scudetto.
“Having said that, it’s still early to say we’ll challenge for it next season. We’ve got to finish this term and then see what happens on the transfer market.”

Milan, meanwhile, ended their run of two straight defeats by edging to a 1-0 victory over Hellas Verona last time out.
Three losses in their last five Serie A games saw them lose ground on rivals Inter and slip below Napoli in the table.
They are now looking over their shoulders in the race for the Champions League positions, and Massimiliano Allegri is expecting a tough test when he welcomes his former side to Milan.
“It’s still Milan-Juventus, one of the most important games of the season, at a moment when both sides are fighting for the top four,” Allegri said.
“Spalletti’s arrival has given them something more, and they are having an excellent season. Juventus are doing really well in terms of playing style and solidity.
“I think they have not conceded for the last three matches. I hope they concede tomorrow. Now we must not think about defenders, strikers or midfielders. We must think about the final result; the rest doesn’t matter.”
PLAYERS TO WATCH
AC Milan – Adrien Rabiot
Adrien Rabiot scored 18 goals in 157 appearances for Juventus, making him the fifth-highest French goalscorer in the club’s Serie A history.
Indeed, with six Serie A goals this season, only in 2022-23 (eight, for Juventus) has he scored more in a single top-flight Italian campaign, and he could become the first non-Italian player to score for both Juventus and Milan in league matches between the two giants of Italian football.

Juventus – Kenan Yildiz
Kenan Yildiz (born 2005) is the third-youngest player with at least 15 goal involvements in the big five European leagues (16 – 10 goals, six assists), behind only Lamine Yamal (26, born 2007) and Yan Diomande (18, born 2006).
Since the start of the 1990s, only two Juventus players have scored against Milan in a Serie A match as a U21 player.
MATCH PREDICTION: DRAW
Milan are the side who have beaten Juventus most often in Serie A (53 times in 181 previous meetings – D59 L69), and also the team who have scored the most goals (227) against the Bianconeri in the competition’s history.
Juve have not conceded a single goal in their last five Serie A matches against Milan (W2 D3), which is already a record run for the Bianconeri against the Rossoneri in the competition.
Only once in their history have Milan gone longer without scoring in consecutive top-flight matches against a single opponent: between December 1935 and March 1938 against Triestina (a run of six).
Only Inter (35) have secured more away wins over Milan than Juventus (25) in the history of Serie A. Additionally, Juventus (107) and Inter (124) are the only two teams to have scored 100 or more goals away against them in the competition.
Milan have lost two of their last four home Serie A matches (W2) with an aggregate score of 0-4; as many home defeats without scoring as they registered in their previous 45.
Juve, meanwhile, have won five of their last six Serie A matches without conceding a goal, including each of their last three by an aggregate score of 5-0.
