Jordan Love is easily the most important Green Bay Packers player, and the team is likely going to go as far as he takes them.
That being said, he can’t do it all. As exemplified in the 2025 NFL season, Love alone can’t overcome the injuries and other issues, which led to the team falling out of the NFL playoffs early.
But a new season brings new hope for Love and the Packers, and in the eyes of sports broadcaster Kay Adams, Love is about to have another big season in 2026. She also thinks that the former Utah State Aggies star signal-caller is the top dark horse to win the next Most Valuable Player award.
“We, we don’t appreciate how good Jordan Love was last year. If you look at the numbers, the analytics, he’s added more value to his team last year than any other quarterback in the league. He kept the big plays, he cut his turnover rate in half,” Adams said on the Up & Adams Show.
Adams shares her thoughts on Jordan Love
At the same time, Adams believes that in order for Love to win the MVP, he will have to will Green Bay into a great start.
“He has to show I am I’m the head, the shoulders, the neck, I’m moving it all around,” Adams said of Love.
“And I’m carrying the squad. We need a hot start. And it could happen. You’ve got crazy division, same kind of vibe as Kyler [Murray]. Like you have if you’re in charge of that, that means something narrative-wise. Bears Vikings, you got [Buccaneers], Cowboys, [and] without Micah, you have to survive. This will make his case the schedule will make his case.”
