Ludwig Kaiser’s Court Restrictions Revealed After Florida Battery Arrest

Ludwig Kaiser’s Florida battery arrest came with several court-ordered restrictions, including one detail that immediately stands out — the WWE star was ordered to maintain separate residences after his release from jail.

Court documents obtained by Ringside News reveal Kaiser, whose real name is Marcel Barthel, turned himself in on May 20 after an active arrest warrant was issued in Orange County, Florida. The WWE star was booked on a misdemeanor battery charge before later posting $1,000 bond.

The arrest paperwork confirms Barthel surrendered at the Booking and Release Center after the warrant had already been issued. The narrative in the booking documents states:

“Defendant turned himself in on an Active Arrest Warrant – served at the Booking and Release Center. Warrant was confirmed and faxed by OCSO Warrants Unit. Bond is set at $1,000.00.”

While the battery charge itself has already drawn attention, the obtained court paperwork reveals several conditions Barthel must follow while the case moves forward. According to the documents, Barthel was ordered to have no contact with victims or witnesses tied to the case.

The release conditions also state Barthel cannot possess weapons, firearms, or ammunition. The paperwork further bars him from possessing drug paraphernalia or controlled substances unless prescribed by a doctor. Another restriction states he cannot consume alcohol to the point of intoxication. One of the more notable conditions involves where Barthel can live moving forward. According to the court documents, he was ordered to:

“Maintain separate residences.”

The paperwork also reveals Barthel was only permitted to return to the Paramount on Lake Eola Apartments one time — and only if law enforcement accompanied him. The documents state:

“Defendant shall be permitted to return to 415 E. Pine St., Orlando, FL (The Paramount on Lake Eola) on one occasion with law enforcement.”

The underlying case stems from an alleged incident that took place at the apartment complex on April 23. Police later established probable cause for misdemeanor battery before the arrest warrant was issued.

Kaiser has recently continued appearing on WWE television under the masked El Grande Americano character, making the timing of the situation even more notable as WWE moves ahead with its weekly programming schedule.

As of this writing, WWE has not publicly commented on Barthel’s arrest or addressed whether his television status could be affected moving forward.

Do you think WWE should continue featuring Ludwig Kaiser on television while this case plays out, or should the company step back from using him for now? Let us know your thoughts and leave your feedback in the comments.
