Michael Magnesi says the crowd can’t fight for Ryan Garner ahead of their crunch clash in Southampton on Saturday.
Garner (19-0, 10 KOs) has home advantage when he meets Magnesi (26-2, 13 KOs) for the WBC Interim super featherweight title at St Mary’s Stadium, live on DAZN.
The visitor insists he won’t be overawed by the likely hostile reception awaiting him when he heads to the ring.
“That’s not a big problem,” the 31-year-old told proboxing-fans.com.
“I’m not worried about that, because you don’t win fights with the fans, you win fights in the ring.
“That’s normal that he has the fans on his side.
“That’s ok.
“I’m ready for war.

“I want to live the moment.
“I want to take the belt home.
“I’m proud and happy to fight Ryan. He’s a great boxer.”

The winner of the bout will secure a showdown with WBC super featherweight world champion, O’Shaquie Foster, who overcame Raymond Ford by majority decision last month.
‘Lone Wolf’ has been beaten twice in his 28-fight professional career, dropping his IBO title to now-WBA titlist, Anthony Cacace before being stopped by Masanori Rikiishi three fights later.
The Italian has won three on the spin since and insists he’s ready to face Foster as well as tackling Cacace in a rematch.

“I’m more than ready to do it,” he added.
“We’ll do this fight and then we’ll see what we do with O’Shaquie Foster.
“I would love also to fight Anthony Cacace for a unification of the world titles.”

Garner is undefeated in 19 professional bouts and looks to secure a maiden world title shot with victory.
‘The Piranha’ has claimed British, Commonwealth and European straps and was last out in March, stopping Cristian Bielma in three rounds in Ireland.
