Milan have identified Gonçalo Ramos as their primary striker target this summer and have already opened talks with the Portuguese forward’s agent Jorge Mendes, with the player himself understood to have expressed his openness to a move to San Siro.
According to Sky Sport, via TuttoMercatoWeb, the contact with Mendes represents a significant acceleration in Milan’s pursuit of a centre-forward – a signing likely to happen this summer following direct conversations between Ruben Amorim and the club’s leadership.
Ramos fits precisely the profile Amorim is seeking: a physically imposing, technically capable centre-forward who can hold the line, create depth and finish in the box.

Ramos’ openness to Milan move gives Rossoneri confidence as PSG negotiations begin
The player’s willingness to consider the destination is a crucial early indicator that a deal could be made.
Ramos has been at PSG since joining from Benfica in 2023 but has not established himself as an undisputed starter in Paris, and the prospect of becoming the central figure in Amorim’s new project appears to appeal to the 25-year-old.
Negotiations with PSG will be the defining challenge, the French club paid approximately €65 million for Ramos and will not let him leave cheaply.
However, with Mendes facilitating communication and the player’s own desire aligned with the Rossoneri’s, the groundwork for a deal is being laid.
