MJF just wished Alicia Atout a happy birthday in the most MJF way possible, as he told her that “divorce is imminent.”
On June 1, 2026, MJF took to Twitter and shared a birthday post for his wife, featuring a photo of the two riding an amusement park attraction while both appeared to be screaming. Instead of posting a sweet message, MJF leaned into his usual insult-heavy humor: “To my wife who said pick a good photo of me for my birthday.”
He then joked that Atout getting older meant divorce was right around the corner: “You’re getting older and divorce is imminent.” MJF then had another joke tied to the amusement park photo: “So in the meantime. Enjoy the ride. (Pun intended)”
The post came months after MJF spoke to Chris Van Vliet about how his relationship with Atout began. During that interview, he explained that they first met during a wrestling interview in Toronto and stayed in touch for years before finally being single at the same time.
MJF also admitted that his first DM went unanswered, so he sent a second message to make it clear he wanted a real date and was not just trying to hook up. That second message worked, and the two eventually started dating in 2023 before going public that November. They got married in September 2025.
The birthday post may not have been soft or sentimental, but it was absolutely on-brand. MJF picked the chaotic photo, threw in a divorce joke, and still managed to turn Alicia’s birthday into another very MJF moment.
