OG Performance Center Stalker Avoids Aggravated Assault Felony Case For Now After Being Found Incompetent to Stand Trial

Armando Alejandro Montalvo just caught another major legal break in Florida, as his felony case has been derailed after a judge found him incompetent to proceed.

Montalvo, known to many wrestling fans as the “OG Performance Center stalker,” was facing a third-degree felony charge for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in Orange County, Florida. The case stemmed from a March 18, 2025 incident where authorities accused him of using a vehicle during an alleged confrontation.

According to the arrest affidavit, Montalvo was charged with aggravated assault with a motor vehicle and resisting an officer without violence. The affidavit stated that a victim claimed Montalvo attempted to ram his vehicle, and deputies later detained Montalvo after he allegedly resisted commands from law enforcement.

Now, court records obtained by Ringside News show that Montalvo is not moving forward in the felony case like a normal defendant would. During a competency status hearing on May 21, 2026, the court reviewed a report from Dr. Arias dated April 17, 2026, and found Montalvo incompetent to proceed. The order states that Montalvo was not present for the hearing but was represented by the Office of Criminal Conflict & Civil Regional Counsel.

“This cause coming on this day for: Competency Status Hearing, with Asst State Attorney, Zachary Cole, present and you, the defendant, ARMANDO ALEJANDRO MONTALVO being now Not Present and represented by OFC OF CRIMINAL CONFLICT & CIVIL REGIONAL COUNSEL Present Melissa Vickers.”

The court order listed the charge as aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, classified as a third-degree felony.

“Count: 1 AGGRAVATED ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON 784.021(1)(A) Third Degree – Felony.”

The judge then found Montalvo incompetent to proceed due to mental illness, which means the case cannot move forward against him at this time.

“The Court finds the Defendant incompetent to proceed. The Defendant does not meet criteria for State Hospital. The Defendant is placed on conditional release.”

The order also stated that the case would be transferred to another division after the incompetency finding.

“Case to be transferred to Division 23. Order adjudicating the Defendant incompetent to proceed due to mental illness. Order signed and filed in open Court.”

That is another major twist for Montalvo, who has built a long public history through years of strange incidents tied to WWE’s Performance Center, past arrests, court hearings, and repeated run-ins with law enforcement. This time, the court’s ruling means he avoids having the felony case proceed against him for now, not because the charge was dismissed, but because the judge found he is not competent to stand trial.

This news comes after Ringside News reported that Montalvo was also tied to a separate bizarre dead animal citation case in Florida. That matter was previously dismissed after Orange County voluntarily dropped the citation issued against him. With this latest felony case now stalled due to the incompetency ruling, Montalvo has once again managed to sidestep immediate prosecution in a situation that could have carried serious consequences.

Montalvo’s legal saga continues to take strange turns, and this latest order only adds another chapter. The felony charge is not gone based on the court filing, but the case has been stopped in its tracks while he remains on conditional release.
