The Packers are leaving no stone unturned at cornerback.
New defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon has received several resources this offseason, including trading for veteran linebacker Zaire Franklin, drafting cornerback Brandon Cisse and edge rusher Dani Dennis-Sutton with some of Green Bay’s earlier picks in the NFL Draft, and now the Packers are taking a flier on an unproven player looking to revamp the secondary.

Tuesday, the Packers claimed former Raiders cornerback MJ Devonshire off waivers, dropping him into a revamped cornerback room, looking for star-caliber players to emerge.
A former seventh-round pick of the Radiers, in the 2024 NFL Draft, Devonshire has yet to play in an NFL game, but the 5-foot-11 and 185-pound defensive back intercepted eight passes, while producing 90 total tackles and one tackle for loss across five collegiate seasons at Kentucky and Pitt.
