Packers’ Dani Dennis-Sutton Reveals ‘biggest Thing’ That Micah Parsons Told Him

There is another Penn State Nittany Lions product ready to contribute to the Green Bay Packers’ pass rush.

Green Bay welcomed defensive end Dani Dennis-Sutton to the team by using a fourth-round pick to get him in the 2026 edition of the NFL Draft.

Dennis-Sutton’s adjustment to life in the pros can be made easier by the fact that he’ll be working closely with a fellow Penn State product in the form of Micha Parsons, who is one of the best in the game today.

Dennis-Sutton has even already received some guiding words from the five-time Pro Bowler.

Via Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette:

“Just be ready to work,” Dennis-Sutton said, relaying what Parsons told him on the call. “That’s the biggest thing he said. Don’t worry about anything outside of working, man. So I’m here for the team, whatever the team needs me to do, and I’m ready to work. That was really his advice.”

Packers rookie poised to learn behind Penn State connection

Dennis-Sutton could potentially have a prominent role right away in his rookie season, as Green Bay just parted ways with Rashan Gary and Parsons is very likely to still be on the shelf by the time the 2026 campaign rolls around. Parsons is recovering from an ACL injury he suffered late in the 2025 season. Still, Dennis-Sutton has to prove himself in training camp, with Green Bay looking to come out stronger after an early playoff elimination last season.

In his final two seasons with the Nittany Lions, Dennis-Sutton had 17.0 sacks and 84 combined tackles through 29 games.
