KL Rahul – 2548 runs
KL Rahul had his most productive days in IPL at Punjab Kings, playing four editions from 2018 to 2021. He leads the run-scoring chart for PBKS, scoring 2548 runs at an average of 56.62 while striking at 139.76. Rahul registered two centuries and 23 half centuries for the franchise, with his best knock of 132 not-out in 69 deliveries coming against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Rahul amassed over 600 runs in three out of four seasons at PBKS, and made 593 in the remaining one. His IPL 2018 campaign produced one of the most glorious batting displays, where he smashed 659 runs at an average of 55 and strike rate of 158.
Shaun Marsh – 2477 runs
The elegant batter from down under, Shaun Marsh made a big impact for the Punjab franchise in early years of the league. He sits second on the list of most runs for Punjab Kings in IPL, having scored 2477 runs from 69 innings. He averaged a very good 39.95 and struck at 132.74, racking up 20 fifties and a hundred. Marsh won the Orange Cap in the inaugural IPL edition, when he amassed 616 runs from 11 innings at an average of 68 and strike rate of 139.7. His highest score of 115 off 69 came against Rajasthan Royals in 2008.
David Miller – 1974 runs
David Miller was one of the mainstays in the PBKS side from 2012 to 2019. The South African power-hitter was their designated finisher for years and was outstanding during 2013-15. He made 1974 runs from 82 innings at an average of 35.25 while scoring at a rate of 139.4, including one century and nine half centuries. In IPL 2013, Miller scored 418 runs at 59.7 average and 164.6 strike rate. Miller’s best knock for PBKS came against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, blasting 101 not-out in just 38 deliveries.
Mayank Agarwal – 1513 runs
Mayank Agarwal played for the Punjab franchise for five years from 2018-22. While his overall stint was underwhelming, he had a couple of good campaigns in 2020 and 2021. Agarwal is fourth on the table of players with most runs for Punjab Kings in IPL, having made 1513 runs at an average of 26.54 while striking at 141. He smashed one century and nine half centuries for PBKS.
Glenn Maxwell – 1383 runs
Glenn Maxwell had a very good season for Punjab Kings in 2013, where he smashed 552 runs at 34.5 average and 187.8 strike rate. But his other four editions at the franchise were miserable. He scored 1383 runs from 67 innings at an average of 23.84 while striking at 157.69. Maxwell smashed six fifties during his stint for PBKS.
Chris Gayle – 1339 runs
The Universe Boss represented the PBKS team for four editions during 2018-21 and gave pretty good returns. Chris Gayle has the sixth most runs for Punjab Kings in IPL, with 1339 runs at an average of 36.18 and strike rate of 143.2. He registered one century and 10 half centuries for the franchise.
Wriddhiman Saha – 1190 runs
Wriddhiman Saha’s IPL career highlight was in the Punjab jersey when he smashed 115* off 55 in the 2014 final against Kolkata Knight Riders, albeit they ended up as runners-up. He made 1190 runs during his time at the franchise, averaging 24.79 at a strike rate of 130.48.
Manan Vohra – 1106 runs
Manan Vohra occupies the eighth spot on the table of the players with most runs for Punjab Kings in IPL. He scored 1106 runs from 46 innings for PBKS at an average of 25.13 and strike rate of 134.06. Vohra struck four fifties in this stint, with best score of 95 off 50 against Hyderabad in 2017.
Mandeep Singh – 1073 runs
The local talent Mandeep Singh represented Punjab Kings from 2011 to 2021 and had plenty of opportunities but he could not quite live up to the expectations. He made 1073 runs from 58 innings at an average of 22.82 while striking at 122.62, including four fifties.
Kumara Sangakkara – 1009 runs
The Sri Lankan legend played for Punjab Kings in the first three IPL editions. He was pretty decent for them, scoring 1009 runs from 34 innings at an average of 31.53 and strike rate of 129.52. Sangakkara registered eight fifties for the franchise, with the highest score of 94 off 56 against Mumbai Indians in 2008.
