Rhea Ripley has no problem reminding Jade Cargill who walked out of WrestleMania 42 with the WWE Women’s Championship.
After teaming with Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair to defeat Fatal Influence at WWE’s live event in Liverpool, England on May 28, Ripley looked directly into the camera and sent a brutal warning to Cargill ahead of their title match at Clash in Italy.
In video released by WWE, with Ripley’s comments transcribed by WrestleTalk, the champion called out Cargill for being absent while she was already working on the European tour.
“Jade, where are you? See me, the champion, I’m at work. Where are you? I hope you’re getting ready for Clash In Italy, because I am about to beat you, two nil, bitch!”
Ripley defeated Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 42 in April, meaning another win at Clash in Italy would make her 2-0 against Cargill in singles matches.
Cargill does have one recent victory over Ripley. She pinned the champion during a six-woman tag team match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 23, but that was not one-on-one and the title was not on the line.
Now Cargill has the chance to take the championship back, while Ripley is heading into Italy openly promising that WrestleMania was not a fluke and that she plans to beat her again.
Rhea Ripley is already talking like Clash in Italy will be another painful night for Jade Cargill. This time, Cargill has to answer with the title hanging in the balance.
Do you think Rhea Ripley makes it 2-0 against Jade Cargill, or will Cargill leave Italy with the WWE Women’s Championship? Leave your feedback in the comments below.
