Roma face strong competition for Olympique Marseille striker Mason Greenwood, as Fenerbahce are setting up meetings within 24 hours and time is of the essence.
It is no secret that Greenwood is the first name on the wish list of coach Gian Piero Gasperini to reinforce his attack after qualification for the Champions League.

At the same time, Olympique Marseille desperately need to sell, as today L’Equipe suggested the debt situation is so out of control that they risk being excluded from UEFA competition in the coming season.
They need to make big sales by the end of this month, and Greenwood is the player most like to raise funds, even if as part of the original transfer, they owe Manchester United 40 per cent of the sell on fee.
Roma now face stiff competition, because BBC Sport and Turkish transfer pundit Yagiz Sabuncuoglu both claim that Fenerbahce have lined up meetings with the striker’s entourage within the next 24 hours.
Fenerbahce are in an odd situation, because they are in the middle of a Presidential election, with two figures promising great signings if they win.
Curiously, both of the candidates are now believed to be targeting Greenwood.
