RONDA ROUSEY VS. GINA CARANO FULL CARD RESULTS, VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS, POST PRESSER & SOCIAL MEDIA REACTION

Los Angeles, CA (May 17th, 2026)– Ronda Rousey defeated Gina Carano via armbar submission in just 17 seconds. The historic featherweight superfight took place at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California. It was promoted by Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) and served as the first-ever live mixed martial arts event broadcast on Netflix.

As soon as the fight started, Gina Carano opened with a leg kick. Rousey immediately caught the leg, ducked inside, and threw Carano to the floor with a clean double-leg takedown.

Carano briefly attempted to lock in a guillotine choke from the bottom, but Rousey popped her head out into full mount. Rousey rained down a few ground-and-pound punches, seamlessly transitioned to her signature armbar, and forced the tap.

Following the stoppage, both fighters shared an emotional embrace in the center of the cage. Rousey called Carano her “hero” for originally blazing the trail for women’s MMA, while Carano, who lost 100 pounds to prepare for her first fight in 17 years, expressed gratitude just to compete again. Directly after the match, the 39-year-old Rousey announced her permanent retirement from the sport.

Nate Diaz vs. Mike Perry: The “People’s Main Event”

The highly anticipated welterweight clash turned into a trademark combat sports bloodbath. In round 1, Mike Perry established dominance early, digging heavy punches into Nate Diaz’s body and stalking the MMA legend. Diaz later admitted he broke his finger in the opening seconds, hindering his offense.

In round 2, Perry increased the pressure, landing vicious elbows and a flush knee to the forehead that opened up a massive cut above Diaz’s eye. Diaz was dropped just before the round ended.

With Diaz pouring blood, his corner and the cageside doctor decided he could not answer the bell for round 3. Perry walked away with the 2nd-round TKO victory. Diaz earned $500,000 for his return to the cage, while Perry secured $400,000.

Francis Ngannou vs. Philipe Lins

He brutally defeated former PFL champion Philipe Lins via a devastating left hook at 4:31 of the opening round. Lins took a lot of damage in this fight and fought courageously on his shield before the stoppage.
