It’s a big weekend in pro wrestling with WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event and AEW Double or Nothing both taking place. Let’s see what today’s rumors have to say about it!
Top rumor of the day: Drew McIntyre’s return to WWE
Drew McIntyre has been gone from WWE since losing his match against Jacob Fatu at WrestleMania 42. However, DM Hunk may be on the verge of returning during WWE’s European tour that begins next week.
That’s because McIntyre is advertised for a Street Fight against Fatu on a June 2 live event in Strasbourg, France. Drew’s image is also included on WWE’s web site for next week’s (May 29) episode of SmackDown in Barcelona, Spain.
Drew was the WWE champion as recently as early March, and has multiple world champions to potentially attack if he ends up doing a run-in at Clash In Italy on May 31. Even if he doesn’t show up by then, there are at least signs now that fans won’t have to wait much longer to see McIntyre back in a WWE ring.
