East London-based framebuilder Stayer Cycles has announced a new wave of dates for its popular Framebuilding 101 course, following a surge in demand sparked by conversations and interest at this year’s 2026 Bespoked UK in London…

The five-day, hands-on course gives participants the opportunity to design and build their own steel bicycle frame from scratch, guided by Stayer’s experienced team in their East London workshop. Scheduled dates have consistently sold out, prompting the release of additional spaces for 2026.

Framebuilding 101 is designed to be accessible to complete beginners as well as those looking to deepen their understanding of bicycle design and fabrication. Over the course of a week, students move from initial geometry and fit discussions through to mitring, brazing, and assembling a fully rideable frame.

With small group sizes limited to just four participants, the course gives you a lot of one- to-one guidance and a highly practical learning environment. Each student leaves with a custom steel frame built to their own fit with a tested Stayer Design, whether road, gravel, or MTB.

Alongside the core Framebuilding 101 course, Stayer also offers a Full Custom version for those looking to push further into bespoke design, as well as wheelbuilding courses and private group sessions.
New dates are now available to book, with places expected to fill quickly.
