Swift Industries announces the return of Swift Campout, the global grassroots bikepacking event taking place June 20–21, 2026. Now in its 12th year, Swift Campout invites people around the world to celebrate the summer solstice by riding their bikes to camp — whether solo, with friends, or alongside their local cycling community.
What began as a simple invitation from Seattle-based bicycle bag company Swift Industries has grown into one of the world’s longest-running global bikepacking events. Each year, thousands of riders across dozens of countries participate with one shared mission: go bikepacking on the summer solstice.
“Swift Campout is our love letter to the bikepacking community,” says Swift Industries co-founder Martina Brimmer. “It’s an invitation to unplug, reconnect with ourselves and the outdoors, and remember how powerful community can be — especially when it’s happening all over the world at once.”
Participation is open to everyone, from first-time campers to seasoned bikepackers. Riders can:
- Plan their own private Swift Campout
- Host a public Campout for their local community
- Join an existing public Campout near them

Swift Campout Video Challenge Returns
The popular Swift Campout Video Challenge also returns in 2026, with more than $4,000 in prizes designed to fuel future adventures. Prizes include:

Participants can submit short videos documenting their Swift Campout experience for a chance to win.
