Tessa Blanchard is out of TNA again, and this time it sounds like she was the one who wanted the door opened.
The former TNA World Champion made a big return to the company last year, but her second run has now come to an end. Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reports that sources close to Blanchard claimed she asked for her release from TNA and secured it. No reason for the departure was given.
TNA has not confirmed the move yet. It also noted that TNA Wrestling and other company sources did not immediately respond when contacted for comment.
Blanchard returned to TNA in December 2024 at Final Resolution. She came back by attacking Jordynne Grace after Grace’s match with Rosemary, instantly putting herself back in the Knockouts division mix.
Her status with CMLL has not changed. Blanchard has a major history with TNA. She is a former Knockouts Champion and former TNA World Champion, and she made history as the first woman to hold the company’s world title. Now her second run with TNA appears to be over less than two years after that comeback.
