BeastLink is a new multiplayer shooter where you battle giant monsters—but you can also become one yourself.

If you’d like to act like Godzilla in a china shop and flatten an entire metropolis, thenBeastLinkmight be the game for you. But before you can reshape skyscrapers as a giant monster and take down other kaiju on the map, there’s something else you need to do in the new game from developer Grove Street Games.

If you’ve heard the name before: Grove Street Games didn’t exactly make a good impression a few years ago with the Definitive Edition ofGTA: The Trilogy. Their name was even later removed from the game by Rockstar.

What’s in BeastLink

For one thing, BeastLink is amultiplayer shooter for up to 32 players. On large maps, two teams battle both each other and giant monsters. A story mode for solo players is also planned.

In the first trailer(content warning for people with arachnophobia)you can see not only firearms but also vehicles like cars, tanks, and helicopters, which you can use not only to attack enemies and Kaijus but also to reshape the cityscape.

The developers are promoting aphysics-based destruction system that lets you flatten skyscrapers and drop the rubble on your opponents. Each map is said to contain 100,000 destructible objects.

The actual goal of a match is tocollect serum, which you can use to essentially take control of a Kaiju to wreak havoc and destruction.

The trailer already shows agiant lizard and a spider, but early artwork from the Steam page also reveals abat-like creature and a gigantic shark. Currently, there are likely four Kaijus in the game.

Speaking of Steam

On Valve’s platform, you can already pre-order an initial playtest. However, the game is also set to be released for Xbox and PlayStation.

The Early Access launch is still planned for summer 2026. There is no specific date yet, and the developers currently estimate that it will take just over a year until the full release. At that point, there will be ten maps, eight Kaijus, and ten story missions, which can also be played in co-op.
