Ring of Honor officially has a new home. ROH held a set of television tapings on March 1 at WJCT Studios in Jacksonville, Florida, and during the event, Tony Khan made a major announcement about the promotion’s future.
Khan revealed that Jacksonville will now serve as the official home base for Ring of Honor moving forward. He also confirmed that ROH will return to WJCT Studios in just three weeks, with the next set of tapings scheduled for March 22.
As previously reported, ROH will be filming a studio show in Jacksonville on March 1 at WJCT Studios. The report noted that AEW sources had indicated this approach internally and that talent had been informed about the tapings. It was also stated at the time that the Jacksonville location could become a regular home for ROH in the future. That speculation has now become reality. \
The Jacksonville announcement also comes as AEW prepares for a busy spring schedule. The company is set to hold joint Dynamite and Collision tapings on the following dates:
- March 11
- March 18
- April 1
- April 8
- April 15
- April 22
ROH television continues to air every Thursday at 7 PM ET exclusively on HonorClub. With Jacksonville now officially designated as the new home of Ring of Honor, the promotion appears to be embracing a more consistent studio setting while AEW continues its touring schedule.
Do you think establishing Jacksonville as a permanent home for ROH is the right move, or should the brand remain fully integrated with AEW’s touring model? Let us know your thoughts.
