Topeak Sponsors Mechanic of the Year Award

Topeak has signed up to sponsor the Mechanic of the Year Award at the 2026 BikeBiz Awards for a second year.

Topeak is a global leader in innovative cycling accessories. Built by cyclists, the brand delivers high-quality tools, pumps, racks, bags, lights, and workshop solutions that enhance the riding experience from start to finish. Known for durability and precision engineering, Topeak products are trusted by riders and retailers alike.

Its workshop range, including PrepStation systems and Team Issue tools, provides professional-grade solutions for both home mechanics and in-store servicing, helping retailers support customers beyond the point of sale. With multiple award-winning products recognised as category benchmarks, Topeak continues to drive performance, reliability, and strong retail appeal. From preparation to maintenance, Topeak helps cyclists prepare to ride.

Topeak and Extra UK are delighted to be supporting the Mechanic of the Year Award again at this year’s Bike Biz Awards. Mechanics are the backbone of our industry, and their skill, dedication, and hard work deserve to be celebrated.

Topeak has long been synonymous with high-quality products, and with their Team Issue Range, which are engineered for professional use, they provide precise and durable tools suitable for very workshop. This makes our partnership with this award a perfect fit – Chris Yates, Extra UK Brand Manager for Topeak

In 2025, Topeak signed up as a sponsor of the Mechanic of the Year Award for its inaugural year. Last year, the winner was Nic Vieri.

Entries for the 2026 Awards are open until 3 July 2026, with a shortlist to follow.

You can find all the BikeBiz Awards category information on the Awards website. Below are details from the 2025 Awards:

Lauren Jenkins, BikeBiz editor, added:

It’s great to support from Extra UK and Topeak for a second year. Since we launched this award, they have also supported our Mechanic of the Month initative too. Each winner gets to pick some Topeak tools and we’ve had some fantastic feedback. It means a lot to me to have the backing of the industry. Especially when it comes to supporting mechanics.

I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone again in October and celebrating together.

Winners will be announced on 15 October at The Button Factory in Birmingham. Tickets are available on the BikeBiz Awards website.
