WWE held a double set of WWE RAW and SmackDown television tapings on Monday at the Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
The first was for that night’s live RAW show and the second was for this week’s SmackDown show on Friday, July 3.
The reason for the double tapings was due to WWE giving their staff and talents the July 4 holiday weekend off for a break.

- Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn came out to open the show and spoke about his title victory. Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso interrupted to set up a #1 Contender main event match between the two.
- Charlotte Flair gave a promo backstage
- Six-Woman Tag Team match – Jade Cargill, Michin, & B-Fab defeated Charlotte Flair, Tiffany Stratton, & Chelsea Green
- Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn spoke with RAW and interim SmackDown General Manager Adam Pearce
- AAA Cruiserweight Championship – Rey Fenix (c) defeated El Hijo de Vikingo
- Kiana James interrupts Giulia backstage leading to Blake Monroe showing and attacked both of them
- Royce Keys interrupts Jimmy Uso and Jacob Fatu.
- WWE United States Champion Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes gave a promo setting up a non title match for next week’s show.
- Danhausen was seen in his lab backstage with Matt Cardona, Kit Wilson, and The Miz
- Lainey Reid defeated Brie Bella
- Cody Rhodes was seen talking to Finn Balor backstage. Tama Tonga & Talla Tonga showed up and attacked Balor after Rhodes had walked away.
- Undisputed WWE Championship #1 Contender match – Cody Rhodes defeated Jey Uso
- It was announced that Rhodes will be facing off against Sami Zayn for the Undisputed WWE title on the July 7th WWE RAW show in Rosemont, Illinois
