Preview & Predictions for WWE Clash in Italy 2026:
On tap for tonight’s event, four titles are on the line and a big rematch from WrestleMania 42 goes down, making this one of the bigger cards for these B-level events in quite some time.
Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes defends his title against Gunther. This story has been all over the place, so it’s hard to tell where WWE wants to go, as none of this is the original Randy Orton and Aleister Black story it had started out to be. When in doubt, stick with the champion retaining, though.
That should definitely be the case for Rhea Ripley retaining the WWE Women’s Championship over Jade Cargill. Why put the belt back on Jade to rehash what her lackluster title reign was when she has even less fresh opponents to work with than ever before in comparison to The Eradicator?
Flip a coin on Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar. Either WWE’s intentions are to give Femi another win to cement him, or to give Lesnar a victory back to build to a third match between them. Without having any idea what Lesnar’s future in the company is, it’s impossible for us to know if he’s going to wrestle one more time or multiple times, let alone when and against who.
Is Sol Ruca injured? Can she overcome whatever curse has made her main roster run a disaster so far? She has all the tools to be the next big thing, but the universe is really not letting her succeed right now. Giving her the Women’s Intercontinental Championship should happen, but WWE loves to stretch things out, so it wouldn’t be hard to imagine WWE Creative letting Becky Lynch still walk out with the title.
Lastly, Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu fighting in a Tribal Combat match virtually dictates The Original Tribal Chief retains. As much as it will be weird to see a subservient Samoan Werewolf, it’s just not a smart bet to think WWE will take the title off Reigns until at least SummerSlam.
