Tyson Fury claims a former rival of Anthony Joshua “priced himself out” of an August showdown.
Fury and Joshua have both signed contracts to fight each other later this year.
‘AJ’ first battle Kristian Prenga on July 25 in Saudi Arabia, while ‘The Gypsy King’ is looking to fight in August.
The 37-year-old had been linked with a meeting with former unified heavyweight world champion, Andy Ruiz Jr.
Ruiz Jr infamously knocked out Joshua in 2019 in one of the biggest upsets in heavyweight history, only to lose the rematch six months later.
Fury insists the American was offered the bout, but asked for too much money.
“Andy Ruiz has been contacted,” he told IFLTV.
“As a warm-up fight, because that’s all he is.
“A little, fat, bum dosser.
“Although he knocked out the bodybuilder, he wouldn’t come close to me.
“I’d punch his head right in.
“But they asked for ridiculous numbers. Numbers that they can’t generate.
“This is not a stadium show, it’s just a keep busy fight.

“Andy Ruiz priced himself out, so did a few other people.
“We’re still searching for an opponent.”
‘The Gypsy King’ was present at UFC Freedom 250 on Sunday at the White House in Washington.
The two-time heavyweight world champion hinted at a move to Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing.

“I think I’m going to let Dana do the speaking,” he said.
“I’ll let him do his announcement.
“It’s a massive, massive, massive announcement.”

White remained tight-lipped over the announcement when quizzed by reporters after Justin Gaethje’s win over Ilia Topuria.
“For the last couple of weeks I’ve been hearing from the media and other people that I’m not involved in the fight,” the 56-year-old said.
“I’ve been hearing that Tyson Fury couldn’t get out of the country and couldn’t get into the United States and it just seems like everyone’s always wrong.
“We’ll make an announcement soon.”
