Ric Flair has since deleted his posts on X regarding what appeared to be him suing his son.
In a new post, that also has now since been deleted, but thanks to PWInsider, I was able to obtain a screenshot, Ric stated he was not suing his son David over using the Flair name for his recycling business, but just reminding him that he can’t have the best of both worlds.

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair has taken to social media, saying that he is suing his only living son, David for using the Flair name. Flair notes that if the issue is not cleared up by Monday and the issue can’t be resolved, there will be penalties.
“Unfortunately, There Is Someone That I’m Very Familiar With Using My Own Trademark FLAIR. I Would Like Anyone Who Is Using My Trademarks- Which Are Impossible To Own And I Own Mine, To Know That I’m Well Represented By A Reputable $1000 Per Hour Attorney That Makes A Living Suing People That Abuse My Trademark. You Know Who I’m Talking About. I Hope You Can Clear This Up By Monday, And If We Can’t Resolve This Issue, Read The Penalties.“

In a second post, Ric calls out David, noting that their relationship ended nine years ago and seems to put the blame on David’s wife.
“The Relationship Was Gone 9 Years Ago… I’m Sorry & Sad That It Has Come To This. I’ve Tried My Best To Fix Things Over The Years Only To Be Rejected Because Your Wife Runs Your Life.”

Ric did not mention or call out his daughter Ashley, who wrestles as Charlotte Flair in WWE.
