Updated Points Rankings From the UCI

The UCI released its updated points rankings overnight. Here are some of the key categories and points leaders.

CROSS-COUNTRY RANKING, ELITE MEN

We had to scroll down to 28th place and 41st place to find the next U.S. men in the rankings:

Out of curiosity, we scrolled down to see how far Nino Schurter has fallen in the year-long points rankings, since he retired from World Cup cross-country racing around the end of the summer last year.

Nino  dropped four places over the last week. Nino is now 40 years old, but he hasn’t given up racing yet. He’s been competing in some gravel races in the last few months, and he’s planning on racing in the BC Bike Race in the weeks ahead. We won’t be surprised if he makes the podium in that event. Nino is a fierce competitor. There’s a reason he’s considered the G.O.A.T. of mountain bike racing.
