Virat Kohli is currently dealing with a hamstring injury

Currently, Kohli is out of action because of a hamstring injury he received during the final of the IPL 2026 season against the Gujarat Titans. With another masterclass by Virat, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) defeated the Gujarat Titans in the summit clash and successfully defended the title. The top-order batter of RCB played a match-defining knock in the final to earn the title for the second consecutive season.

After the conclusion of the Indian Premier League 2026, the batter was about to face Afghanistan in a 3-match ODI series, but due to a hamstring injury, he was ruled out of the series entirely.

If the reports are to be believed, he may take multiple weeks to regain his match fitness. A few days ago, the Delhi-born was spotted at the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) Central to Excellence for the fitness Tests.
