Ghana head coach Carlos Queiroz has emphasised that his side plans to play great football against Wales when the two national teams lock horns on Tuesday.
Ghana will face Wales in an international friendly match on Tuesday, June 2, as part of preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Speaking ahead of the game, the Black Stars coach indicated that his side will set out to play great football to bring joy to Ghanaians.
“The message is simple, we want to play great football [against Wales], we want to play to win and bring joy to our fans,” Carlos Oueiroz said in a pre-match interview.
After the Wales friendly on Tuesday, Ghana will play a last friendly against Jamaica on June 10. Carlos Queiroz will hope to use the two games to settle on his starting eleven for the upcoming global tournament.
At World Cup 2026, Ghana has been drawn in Group L and will face the likes of Panama, Croatia, and England.
