WTA French Open Qualifying Best Bets Including Sramkova vs Carle

The WTA French Open women’s qualifying action moves into the third and final round. For players in the top 70, making the main draw of a major tournament is fully expected and not a surprise. For the players ranked near or below No. 100, making a major tournament is not taken for granted, and this is therefore a big breakthrough, either for a career or a season, if not both. These are very important moments for tennis players, which raises the level of excitement surrounding them. LWOS has our best bets for three matches. Post your best bets and thoughts in the comments.

WTA French Open qualifying

Zavatska – Bronzetti: Time 14:30 EST

H2H: 1-1

Katarina Zavatska faces Lucia Bronzetti. Zavatska was a moneyline underdog in her most recent match against Darja Semenistaja but pulled the upset in a three-set match. Bronzetti scored a straight-set win over fellow Italian Lucrezia Stefanini. Both players lost two of their three previous matches before coming to Paris for French Open qualifying, so they have been able to turn around their spring seasons and go in a different direction. Now they meet for a spot in the French Open main draw.

Best Bet to Make

Zavatska is riding a wave of confidence, but Bronzetti is the much higher-ranked player, nearly 100 spots above Zavatska. Bronzetti is playing well and should be able to take the upper hand here. She looks very comfortable on clay and will likely be able to dictate how this match is played. The price for Bronzetti moneyline is not spectacular, but it is decent. It’s enough for us to recommend that bet.

That being said, betting on Bronzetti winning is a value bet for sure.

Kudermetova – Wang: Time 16:00 EST

H2H: 0–0

Polina Kudermetova faces Xiyu Wang. Kudermetova beat Viktoriya Tomova to advance to the third round of French Open qualifying. Wang defeated Storm Hunter to get this far. Tomova and Hunter are both ranked outside the top 150, so neither of those victories is overwhelmingly impressive. Those are solid wins and obviously important ones, but neither win is remarkable or shocking. The real difference between these players is their overall form over the past few weeks. Kudermetova is 4-4 in her last eight matches, while Wang is 9-1 in her last 10 matches. Wang has been playing good tennis for several weeks.

Best Bet to Make

The continued good form of Wang, who has been locked in for several weeks, is hard to ignore here. Kudermetova is ranked higher (125 to 148) and has nine more clay wins in 2026 (19 to 10), but Wang’s winning percentage on clay this year is better than Kudermetova’s record. Kudermetova is 19-9 in 28 clay matches this year. Wang is 10-1 in 11 matches. She has been more efficient. Wang is the moneyline choice here.

That being said, betting on Wang winning is a value bet for sure.

Sramkova – Carle: Time 16:00 EST

H2H: 0–1

Rebecca Sramkova faces Maria Lourdes Carle. Sramkova advanced this far by beating Francisca Jorge in the second round of qualifying. Carle got here by beating Maria Timofeeva. It is notable that Jorge (whom Sramkova beat) is ranked just outside the top 200, while Timofeeva (whom Carle defeated) is ranked close to 85 spots higher than Jorge. Going solely by rankings, Carle earned a more impressive second-round win than Sramkova did. Yet, the betting markets have Sramkova installed as the clear favorite because she is ranked almost 90 spots higher than Carle, 121 to 209.

Best Bet to Make

The rankings say Sramkova is the clearly better player and the obvious favorite, but Carle’s recent results look slightly more impressive. Carle might not win the match outright, but she should be able to win at least one set, and you will get a great price for that particular bet. Carle seems to be fulfilling her potential right now and should be able to make this match close. The bet should lean to Carle in some way.

That being said, betting on Carle +1.5 sets is a value bet for sure.
