Kairi Sane may be gone from WWE, but fans at Backlash made it very clear they haven’t forgotten about her.
During the WWE Backlash match between Asuka and IYO SKY, loud “We Want Kairi” chants suddenly broke out inside the arena.
The chants happened just a few minutes into the match and were clearly audible on the live broadcast. Despite the crowd reaction, Asuka and IYO SKY stayed focused and kept the match moving without missing a beat. Still, the chants quickly became one of the more noticeable crowd reactions of the night.
Kairi Sane was recently one of several notable names to leave WWE alongside Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, and fans online have continued reacting heavily to her departure ever since.
The chants at Backlash only added more fuel to the ongoing fan support surrounding Sane following her exit from the company. At this point, WWE fans are making it pretty obvious they would love to see Kairi Sane back one day.
