8 Eagles named to CBS Sports ‘Top 100 NFL players of 2026’

While the NFL slowly drips their list of Top 100 players for the upcoming season, CBS Sports released their Top 100 NFL players of 2026 by Pete Prisco, and there were eight Eagles named — it would have been nine, but A.J. Brown, who dropped 33 spots from last year’s list, is now a Patriot.

The No. 1 overall player on the list was newly-traded Myles Garrett, followed by QBs Matthew Stafford and Josh Allen. There’s quite a bit of scrolling to get to the first player from Philadelphia, but that guy is Eagles left tackle, Jordan Mailata.

Prisco addresses why it might be surprising for Mailata to be ranked so high:

“His play dipped a bit last season, but [Jordan Mailata] still remains one of the game’s best left tackles. He is a big power player who keys the run game and also does a good job in pass protection. His pass protection fell off some early, but he regrouped.”

The list’s overall theme for Eagles players was that their 2025 season wasn’t as impressive as previous years, but ultimately, they all have high ceilings and are expected to turn things around this fall.

  • No. 30 – OT Jordan Mailata

  • No. 41 – OT Lane Johnson

It’ll take a couple weeks before we have the full Top 100 list from the NFL, voted on by NFL players, and then we’ll be able to compare where the Eagles landed.

Which players do you think are over-ranked or under-ranked? Was anyone snubbed? Let us know in the comments!
