The April 21 episode of NXT was a big night as the brand brought the second night of their Revenge special. This was a big episode from start to finish, and it kicked off with a hard-hitting title match.
The NXT North American Title was on the line once again as Myles Borne put his title up against Dion Lennox. This match was set into motion after Lennox attacked Borne after the champion successfully defended against Johnny Gargano at Stand & Deliver.
This match got a big fight feel intro from Mike Rome, and fans were ready for action. This match was a back-and-forth encounter, with the action staying in the ring for most of it. They fought through a commercial break, and fans continued chanting for both competitors equally.
Then the action went to ringside, where Myles Borne took a hard bump on the ring steps. When they returned to the ring, it was via a superplex from Dion Lennox. Myles fought back, and they traded shots as the two got to their feet.
DarkState got together at ringside, and they caused a distraction. Then Myles landed a Borne Again out of nowhere and retained the title to beat the odds and the numbers game.
