The French Open is next up in the Grand Slam schedule, but many eyes are already turning to the grass-court season, which concludes with Wimbledon.

The ATP Tour is currently in the middle of a clay-court swing, with the Madrid Open quickly followed by the Italian Open.

And the tournaments are building towards the French Open, which brings an end to the current clay-court swing, and notably won’t feature the injured Carlos Alcaraz.

Shortly after, many players will turn their attention to grass-court events, with the Halle Open set to attract plenty of attention given the current entry list.

Can anyone now stop Jannik Sinner from winning Roland Garros after Carlos Alcaraz’s withdrawal?

If yes, who?

Nick Kyrgios and Taylor Fritz confirmed for Halle Open

Alexander Zverev, who is behind only Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz in the ATP rankings, is confirmed for the Halle Open.

And he is joined by fellow superstars Nick Kyrgios and Taylor Fritz, along with other high-profile players like Ben Shelton and Felix Auger-Aliassime.

Kyrgios has played just one singles match across the entire season, while Fritz last played at the Miami Open in March as he continues to deal with knee tendonitis.

Also in the lineup for the ATP 500 tournament in Germany are Joao Fonseca, Alexander Bublik, Frances Tiafoe, Daniil Medvedev, Andrey Rublev and Flavio Cobolli.

The event is scheduled for 15-21 June, with Wimbledon getting underway on 29 June at the All England Club.

What is the 2026 ATP grass-court schedule?

It is certainly an exciting field for the Halle Open, but it is the Boss Open in Stuttgart that kicks off the 2026 ATP grass-court schedule.

That is followed by the Libema Open, Queen’s and Halle, with events in Mallorca and Eastbourne then directly preceding Wimbledon.

Bublik will be out to defend his Halle Open title this year, having beaten Daniil Medvedev in the 2025 final.

The Kazakhstani star beat Sinner en route to the title, but the Italian immediately bounced back to win Wimbledon.

Bublik has been the player to beat at the Halle Open in recent times, also lifting the trophy in 2023, with Sinner claiming the title in 2024.
