The Indiana Fever continued their strong run on Tuesday night. They rolled past the Toronto Tempo 113-91 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse for their fourth consecutive victory and set a single-game franchise record for most points scored in regulation.
Caitlin Clark finished with 21 points and 14 assists, recording her second straight double-double and fourth overall this season. She became the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 250 points and 100 assists in a single season, beating the previous record by three games.
It was also a huge night for Sophie Cunningham, who delivered one of her best performances of the season as well, scoring 22 points and knocking down six three-pointers as Indiana improved to 9-5.

After another impressive win, Clark turned her attention to a different project on Wednesday. The Fever star shared a new Instagram carousel featuring several photos, including images of herself wearing what appears to be her upcoming signature Nike shoe.
The post quickly caught the attention of fans and players, including Cunningham, who responded with a playful three-word comment: “r u good?”
The lighthearted exchange is the latest example of the friendship that has become increasingly visible throughout the season, with the two frequently interacting on social media and supporting one another publicly.
Clark has spent recent weeks generating excitement for her first signature sneaker release with Nike. The Fever guard recently changed her Instagram username and profile photo, a move that sent her fans into a frenzy.
She also acknowledged what releasing her signature shoes means to her.
“I probably was never a kid that grew up thinking that this was gonna be in the cards for me,” Clark said. “That’s what I hope people feel when they put this shoe on … That it kind of gives them a superpower and they feel they can express themselves through the shoe” (h/t James Boyd of The Athletic).
Clark confirmed that she has a date in mind for the release, but refused to disclose to reporters (via IndySportsStar’s Chloe Peterson).
The Fever will have a day to prepare for their next game at home against Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream on Thursday night. Indiana defeated Atlanta earlier this season and will look to extend its winning streak to five games as Clark continues to strengthen her case for another WNBA All-Star selection.
