The finals for the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments are officially set following the June 19 episode of WWE SmackDown.
Jey Uso And Oba Femi Set For King Of The Ring Final
Jey Uso will face Oba Femi in the King of the Ring final at Night of Champions next Saturday in Saudi Arabia.
Uso advanced after defeating Je’Von Evans in a competitive semifinal match. The contest remained closely fought until Uso capitalized on a critical opening. He stopped Evans as he attempted the OG Cutter, followed up with a spear, and sealed the victory with a top-rope splash for the pinfall. Following the match, Uso showed respect by shaking Evans’ hand.
Liv Morgan And IYO SKY Set For Queen Of The Ring Final
On the women’s side, Liv Morgan will meet IYO SKY in the Queen of the Ring final, also taking place at Clash of Champions. The winner of both tournament finals will earn future championship opportunities at SummerSlam in August.
Morgan secured her place after defeating Charlotte Flair in the SmackDown main event. The match carried extra drama after Flair was attacked backstage by Michin and B-Fab, with her leg targeted before she even reached the ring.
Despite the injury, Flair insisted on competing. The match remained highly competitive, with both women exchanging momentum. Morgan countered a Figure Four attempt into a half Boston crab, forcing Flair to escape as Alexa Bliss and WWE medical staff urged her to stop the match.
Flair refused to quit and even kicked out of Oblivion, but Morgan ultimately locked in the submission again. This time, Flair tapped out, giving Morgan the decisive victory and momentum heading into the tournament final.
