Artem Chigvintsev isn’t shutting the door on possibly reconciling with Nikki Bella after their 2024 divorce — but he’s also not opening it either.
Artem Chigvintsev addressed the possibility of reconciling with Nikki Bella while speaking on the Penthouse with Peta podcast. When asked directly if there’s a world where they could get back together, Artem didn’t give a clear yes or no — instead, he admitted he genuinely doesn’t have an answer.
“I don’t know. I think it’s a very tough, tough question to even answer, to be honest. I don’t know—I actually don’t know.”
Rather than leaning into the idea, Artem Chigvintsev explained why he avoids even thinking about reconciliation in the first place, saying it creates expectations that can quickly spiral.
“To be honest, I don’t think of that. Because I also find thinking of that leads to certain expectations, because all of a sudden, as human beings, we love creating things for ourselves in our minds.”
Chigvintsev continued by breaking down how that mindset can lead to imagined outcomes that don’t reflect reality — something he says he’s been actively trying to move away from.
“We imagine things, we believe in things, we create this idea of what that is. And I think that’s something I’ve recently discovered about myself—that’s so wrong. You can’t do that, that kind of projection.”
Artem’s comments mark a shift from focusing on the fallout of his past controversy to addressing his personal future — and specifically where things stand with Nikki Bella. While he isn’t ruling anything out, he’s clearly not living in that space either. For now, it’s uncertainty — not closure, not reconciliation — just an answer that leaves things open without committing to anything.
